My interest in art started early, probably around the age of five. I would get completely lost in art projects and books, fully immersed in colors, shapes, and space. It felt like stepping into another world, one where I could just create freely.

I really consider the beginning of my journey in the visual arts to be when I was twelve and joined a private fine art school. That’s when things clicked. By the time I got to high school, I already knew what I wanted to do. Honestly, school felt like a distraction, I wasn’t interested in anything that didn’t align with my passion. I knew I didn’t want to spend my life doing something that lacked meaning or creative depth. I wanted to use all of my abilities, especially my attention to detail and love for visual storytelling in whatever path I chose.

Eventually, I earned a four-year degree in graphic design, which also included a lot of web design. Titles never meant much to me; I was just hungry to learn everything I could about design and technology, especially the things that weren’t taught in the standard curriculum.

What I didn’t expect was how quickly the design world would shift. Technology evolved, and so did the industry. As designers, we have to keep up, adapt, and grow. My first job was in graphic design, but soon I transitioned into web design, and eventually into visual design. That naturally led me into UI/UX. Within a year, I had learned a whole new set of tools and processes. That experience showed me how fast I can learn and adapt when I’m passionate about something.

Design and especially working with color has always been my constant. It’s what’s guided me through all the changes and challenges. And it’s what keeps me excited for what’s ahead. I plan to keep growing in this industry for many years to come.
